About Omni Media Services

Omni Media Services was started in 1988 by Phil Stinemates, whose career in video production began when he was on the staff of KLZ-TV Channel 7 in Denver when the station first went on the air in 1953. He later was program director for Armed Forces Radio and Television in Okinawa in the late 1950s. He worked as a director for Denver’s Channel 2 after his return from the service, before transitioning to advertising sales for several Denver radio stations.

While operating Stinemates & Associates, an advertising agency working primarily with automobile dealerships, he wanted to better control the production of commercials for his clients. Video production took over more of the focus as he traveled the country shooting at rodeos, hose jumping events and working with a variety of clients who needed commercial, promotional and instructional videos.

His son Eric helped part-time with many of those productions after graduating from the University of Oregon, and during stints as a morning news editor at KDEN Radio in Denver and 2 years with a marketing firm. Eventually, Eric joined Omni full time and took on expanded duties shooting and post-production duties.

Phil has retired but today, Eric oversees all aspects of production for Omni Media Services from concept to completion. From shooting video, editing audio and video, creating motion graphics, script writing and editing, even doing the occasional voice-over, he understands how all the elements work together for an effective and informative production.
